What is FOREVERWELL at the YMCA?
FOREVERWELL programs are aimed at engaging empty nesters, retirees, and older adults with a focus on maintaining wellness throughout the spectrum of life.
FOREVERWELL workshops, classes and events will keep you forever belonging, forever learning, and forever moving — no matter your age.

FOREVERWELL Book Club
Launching Tuesday, November 5th at 10:00a.m. by the JP Cullen Gym at the Janesville YMCA. Final Book Recap will be held on Dec 3rd. at 10:00a.m
Join us as we turn the page on a new chapter of connection, conversation, and community! The FOREVERWELL Book Club is designed for adults 55+ (all ages welcome) who are part of our YMCA FOREVERWELL program and love the joy of reading.
Whether you’re a lifelong reader or just rediscovering your passion for books, this is the perfect place to share ideas, spark friendships, and enjoy stories together.
Bring your curiosity, your love of stories, and a friend or two—we can’t wait to read with you! Registration Closes on Oct. 13th to allow time to order books.

FOREVERWELL Aqua Challenge
Calling all water walkers, lap swimmers and aqua class participants! Join us for a friendly fitness challenge that welcomes ALL aquatic enthusiasts—whether you’re walking the lanes, swimming laps, or shaking it in aqua classes. Every splash counts toward your goal!
- Choose Your SPLASH: Water Walking, Lap Swim, Aqua Classes: Aqua Zumba, Aqua Tone, Aqua Balance
- Record Your Progress:
- Grab your Aqua Challenge Tracker from the front desk
- After each session, log your activity (we trust your honesty and consistency!
- Make a SPLASH 20X in one month
- Finishers also receive a FOREVERWELL Aqua Champion Certificate + entry into our raffle for some fun Y Swag!
